FINANCIAL INCENTIVES: YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE
Natural Resources Canada's EcoENERGY Retrofit Program is designed to help industrial
businesses improve the energy efficiency of their operations!

NRCan will provide financial incentives of up to 25% of project costs to a maximum of
$50000 per application and $250 000 per corporate entity to help industrial businesses
implement energy-saving projects.

Incentive is calculated on a per project basis and will be lowest of the following calculations:

Logo $10 per gigajoule (GJ) of energy estimated to be saved by a retrofit project per year
Logo 25% of total eligible project costs
Logo the amount required to reduce the net simple payback period for each project to no less than one year

So in retrofitting a Twister by Airworks,
you may be eligible for:

Logo $3099 (309.9 GJ saved using the GJ and Energy Intensity Calculator)
Logo $4000 (based on average retrofit cost of $16 000)
Logo $5105 ($ of annual energy savings x (net payback period in yrs – 1 year)

Therefore:  NRCan's contribution could be $3099 of the cost of your retrofit.

Not only do you save money with decreased fuel consumption, but you could
also be eligible for  Natural Resource Canada's EcoENERGY Retrofit Incentive Program.
